Who exactly is Isis?

ATL Nuru

Thank you for your curiosity...

The Basics

My ethnicity is African American. I am in my 30's and I was born and raised in a big city. My accent is subtle but once you hear my voice, you'll probably be able to place my origins.

The question comes up often and the answer is I do not work out that much. I do not enjoy working out. My body is a result of genetics, a high protein diet, and a mixture of dance, yoga, and some weight-lifting. I do keep two 15-pound free weights in my bedroom. I became less active after covid but I do still take fitness classes from time to time.

Education

I have a degree from a liberal arts school. My studies weren't very specific when I was in college because I was still figuring out my career. However, I took a lot of poetry and play-writing classes.

Career

In my early 20's, I was still living in the city and I worked mostly retail. My interests were and are still in fashion. When I finally realized my passion, I got a job in fashion marketing working for e-tailers. There, I discovered I had even more of passion for fashion marketing. I had a stint as an entrepreneur in fashion and, while I do fairly well as an erotic masseuse, I was even more successful in the fashion world.

My eyes were on the prize for quite a while and I even worked as a private landlord for a few years (oh, the stories I could tell).

Hobbies and Interests

Most of my hobbies center around fitness. I probably take yoga classes the most. I'm currently focusing on classes that train you to be a contortionist. I think contortion is a beautiful art form and alluring for obvious reasons...

I've also taken to learning a sport. I won't be too direct but my clients refer to it as the "sport of the wealthy". Why, I'm not sure, but I'd agree that the sport connotes a certain status. At the very least, the cost of the lessons are meant for the wealthy. I was attracted to the sport because it is meditative. I also think games which require form and a certain amount of precision are interesting. I also like that you don't play directly against or with anyone. You play alone and that suits me perfectly because I don't do well with team sports or in group settings.

Aside from my business interests, my other interests are health-related. Most books in my library are centered around health and wellness. I am currently reading a book about the evils of the processed food industry. My YouTube video history and podcast library contains topics on alternative medicine, massage (of course), traditional Chinese medicine, and videos and podcasts on niche content marketing.

Ambitions

While I appreciate what my job as an erotic masseuse offers, I am not sure how long I will be in this business. It has its challenges. I keep one foot in the world of fashion and marketing and landlord-ing. From time to time, I attend industry events (mostly in marketing and real estate) just to stay abreast.

A major part of the reason I am anonymous in photos is because I still have goals in the business world. I am currently keeping my eyes out for a mentor as I do plan to shape-shift back into a "straitlaced" career gal. I am most excited about getting back into content marketing. My clients often talk to me about their jobs and it sometimes sparks ideas for what I'd like to do next. When I have time, I check the analytics on this blog to see where traffic is coming from. Online passive income is exciting to me.

-----

I've shared what I could about myself but I cannot be totally open, unfortunately. Privacy is my top priority. As mentioned in another blog post, anonymity affords me so much freedom in this city. My penchant for discretion is a big part of the reason clients see me. They appreciate my need for privacy and understand that I will value and protect their own privacy as well.

If you're interested in getting to know me, I offer 10-minute virtual calls. Email me to take that first step: isisvegaatl@gmail.com.
